The required coursework includes in-depth video lessons led by Mark Majors, PhD, covering subscale interpretation and formation scores, the Core Factors Type Elements assessment manual, and a competency assessment. Upon completion, you become an authorized user and gain access to the assessment.
A Pro Account provides access to assessments developed by experts, experience surveys, a project-based administration system, consignment links for easy participant access, on-screen and PDF reporting, and the ability to customize messaging. The Pro Account is free to apply for.
Type Elements provides two reports: a Participant Report (15-17 pages) with graphical results, subscale definitions, and Personality Formation statements accessible to non-professionals; and a Practitioner Report containing numeric scores for the 8 preferences, 32 subscales, 10 Personality Formation scores, and 8-Process information.
The Practitioner Report contains numeric information that requires professional interpretation to avoid confusion or misattribution. The Participant Report presents the same underlying data in graphical and verbal form, designed to be accessible and support self-discovery. This separation protects respondents from potentially confusing technical data.
Participants can access their results through the Participant Hub, providing an on-screen experience of their report that supports ongoing reflection. The detailed Participant Report can also be downloaded as a PDF for reference and sharing with practitioners during development conversations.
Type Elements supports both individual and team applications. For individuals, it enables deep coaching and development conversations. For teams, the subscale and formation information helps understand diverse psychological types, improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build more effective collaboration based on individual differences.
