The data comes from the Center for Creative Leadership, one of the most extensive sources of leadership effectiveness research available. The reports were developed by Roger Pearman in collaboration with Michael M. Lombardo and Robert W. Eichinger, whose work on leadership competencies has shaped how organizations develop talent for decades.
The research premise is straightforward: successful and effective people know themselves better than most. The YOU framework maps that effectiveness data onto personality type, so the behavioral strategies in each report reflect not just what someone of that type tends to do, but what research shows moves performance in the specific areas where that type most often needs development. A behavioral strategy for Dealing With Conflict means something different for an INFP than it does for an ESTJ. The reports do not flatten those differences. They work from them.
