Core Factors Participant Terms of Use

Last Updated: August 15, 2026

1. These Terms and Your Account

1.1 These Participant Terms of Use (“Participant Terms”) govern your use of the Core Factors platform as a participant: a person completing assessments and using participant services such as the Participant Hub and Evidentra (the “Services”). They are entered into between you and Net One Click, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Core Factors (“Core Factors,” “we,” “us”). By registering a participant account or accessing the Services, you agree to these Participant Terms, together with the Core Factors Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and AI Use & Profiling Notice, each incorporated by reference. These Participant Terms control over the general Terms of Service for participant use.

1.2 The Services include Core Factors assessments and reports, the Participant Hub and its content and tools (including type descriptions, Compare and Connect, My Journal, and Career Explorer, where available), Evidentra, and related participant resources delivered through the platform.

1.3 You must be at least sixteen (16) years old to register and use the Services. If you are not old enough under the law of your country or territory, do not register an account.

1.4 In most cases your access is arranged by a coach, consultant, or other professional, or by their organization (your “Practitioner”). Your account is for you alone; do not share your login credentials, and notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access.

1.5 You are responsible for meeting the basic technical requirements to use the Services (an internet connection, a valid email address, and a compatible browser) at your own expense.

2. Your Data and Privacy

2.1 Your use of the Services involves your personal information, your responses to assessment items (“Item Responses”), your responses to optional research and demographic questions (“Demographic Data”), and the reports generated from them (“Reports”).

2.2 Where your access is arranged by a Practitioner, the Practitioner (or the Practitioner’s client organization) is the data controller and Core Factors is the data processor. Core Factors processes your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and on the documented instructions of the data controller, unless required otherwise by applicable law. Where you access the Services directly without a Practitioner, such as through a free or self-directed assessment, Core Factors is the data controller for your personal information.

2.3 Core Factors may engage subprocessors and third-party service providers, including providers of licensed content served through Evidentra, as described in our Privacy Policy. Such providers are contractually bound to substantially similar privacy and security obligations. Queries sent to third-party content services do not include your documents or uploaded materials, are not used to train third-party models, and are not used to identify you.

2.4 Your information may be transferred to and stored in the United States. By using the Services you acknowledge and agree to that transfer; relevant safeguard mechanisms for international transfers are described in our Privacy Policy.

2.5 Core Factors stores the data associated with your account (personal information, Item Responses, Demographic Data, and Reports) from collection until eighteen (18) months after you complete the relevant assessment (the “Retention Period”), after which it is removed or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where your account contains multiple assessments, the Retention Period applies separately to each, and your name and email address are retained until the last Retention Period ends.

2.6 If your Practitioner’s account closes before a Retention Period ends, Core Factors will retain your account data for up to ninety (90) days after closure. If access is not restored within that period, your personal information will be removed and your assessment data anonymized as described in Section 2.8, and you will permanently lose access to your Reports and supporting materials. We encourage you to download copies of your Reports for your records.

2.7 Core Factors retains and uses assessment data in non-personally identifiable form indefinitely for scientific research, product development, and analytics. Such data is no longer personal information. If you have opted in to research contact, we may retain your data in identifiable form for the Retention Period for research purposes, after which it is anonymized.

2.8 You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, and your personal information is removed when your account is deleted. Where a Practitioner is the data controller, we will route your request to them and reasonably cooperate in the response. On authorized deletion, your name, contact details, and other identifying information are removed. Item Responses, Demographic Data, and assessment results are retained only in anonymized form, no longer linked to you, for the scientific research and product development purposes described in Section 2.7. You can manage research and communication preferences in your account.

3. Your Responsibilities

3.1 Use the Services only for your own personal and professional development. The Services are not clinical or diagnostic tools, and Reports are not medical or psychological diagnoses.

3.2 You will not sell, resell, rent, or lease your access; store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or malicious material; interfere with or disrupt the Services; or attempt unauthorized access to any system or network.

3.3 You will not copy, frame, or mirror platform content; reverse engineer any assessment, scoring method, or Report; contract with any party other than Core Factors for scoring; or use the Services or their data to build a competing product or service.

3.4 You will not remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from any content, and you will not use Core Factors trademarks in any domain name.

4. Evidentra and AI Tools

4.1 Evidentra is Core Factors’ AI-assisted behavioral development platform. Your assessment includes an initial period of access to Evidentra, beginning when your results are released, as described in your invitation or at the time of purchase. Continued access beyond the included period may be offered by subscription under Section 5.

4.2 Evidentra provides development guidance and reflection support grounded in the assessment models you have completed. It is an AI assistant: it does not provide medical, legal, or licensed psychological advice, its outputs may contain errors, and it is not a substitute for professional judgment. If you are in crisis or need professional help, contact a qualified professional.

4.3 Content served through Evidentra includes material licensed from third-party providers and is the property of Core Factors or its licensors. You may use Evidentra’s responses for your own personal and professional development. You may not engage in bulk, scripted, or systematic querying; export retrieved content at scale; or use Evidentra or its outputs to reconstruct, assemble, or train a substitute content collection, model, or competing service.

5. Subscriptions

5.1 Certain optional participant services, such as an Evidentra subscription, are offered on a subscription basis. Price, billing period, and included features are stated at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

5.2 You may cancel at any time through your account or by contacting us, effective at the end of the current billing period; no advance notice is required. Amounts paid for the current period are not refunded, but access continues through the end of that period. We will provide notice of any price change before it takes effect, applying no earlier than your next renewal.

5.3 If Core Factors discontinues a subscription service, you will retain access, or receive a substantially equivalent service or a pro-rata refund, through the end of your current paid term.

6. Support, Availability, and Changes

6.1 For help with your account, contact your Practitioner or Core Factors support through published contact methods. Core Factors may provide limited basic support at its discretion.

6.2 Core Factors uses commercially reasonable efforts to keep the Services available, but availability is not guaranteed, including during planned maintenance or events beyond our reasonable control. Core Factors may modify or discontinue Services; discontinuation of paid subscriptions is governed by Section 5.3.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 The platform, assessments, Reports, and all other content are the intellectual property of Core Factors or its licensors. You do not acquire any ownership rights. Core Factors grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Services and your Reports for your personal, non-commercial use.

7.2 You may download and copy your own Reports for personal use and record-keeping. You may not reproduce assessments, alter or redistribute Reports or other content, or commercially exploit any Service. You retain ownership of the personal content you create in tools such as My Journal.

8. Term and Termination

8.1 These Participant Terms apply from the date you register and remain in effect while your account is active.

8.2 You may request deletion of your account at any time under Section 2.8. Core Factors may terminate your access on written notice if you materially breach these Participant Terms.

8.3 If your account terminates or expires: you lose access to the Services and associated data, including Reports and supporting resources; you must stop using Core Factors’ intellectual property; and no refunds are provided except as set out in Section 5 or required by law.

9. Disclaimers, Liability, and Indemnity

9.1 The Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Core Factors disclaims implied warranties of title, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose, and does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Core Factors is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, and its total liability will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid to Core Factors in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or one hundred dollars ($100).

9.3 You agree to indemnify Core Factors against claims arising from your violation of these Participant Terms or of applicable law.

10. General

10.1 These Participant Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California; disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.

10.2 Notices to Core Factors should be sent to legal@corefactors.com. Notices to you will be sent to the contact information associated with your account and are effective on electronic delivery.

10.3 No failure or delay in exercising a right is a waiver of it. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be severed or modified and the remainder will stay in effect. You may not assign these Participant Terms. Provisions that by their nature survive termination will survive, including Sections 2.7, 3, 4.3, 7, 9, and 10.

10.4 Core Factors may update these Participant Terms by providing notice through the platform; material changes take effect no earlier than thirty (30) days after notice, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
